IMTA Press Release

“Desperate Housewives,” feature films, ad campaigns, opening a restaurant — and a wedding to plan!
“Honestly, what’s sexy about Eva is the energy she has. Being around her just makes you feel good.” – “Desperate Housewives” co-star Ricardo Antonio Chavira
It will probably come as no surprise to anyone that Eva Longoria is having a very good year. Not only is she getting married this summer to beau Tony Parker, but this 1999 IMTA alum’s professional careers as both actress and model couldn’t be hotter.
Longoria now makes it fashionable for women to sweat by being named the new face of Bebe Sport, the boutique company’s line of sensual but sophisticated workout gear. “When I was poor, my dream was to walk into Bebe and buy everything. It was always my favorite,” Longoria said. “I used to be an aerobics instructor so I really know what works well for that type of activity. I love how stylish and comfortable the collection is.”
Longoria also makes a splash on the cover of April’s Cosmopolitan magazine with photos accompanying a promised “juicy” interview inside that covers everything from her upcoming wedding to her secrets for a great relationship. “I never had a time line for my life,” she confides. “I didn't say I wanted to be married at 28 and have three kids by the time I was 32.” In addition to Cosmopolitan, Longoria graces the pages of the March 26th edition of TV Guide, named as one of 2007’s Hottest TV Stars.
With the hit show “Desperate Housewives” in its third season and still going strong, Longoria has also taken on the role of entrepreneur with her newly opened Tex-Mex restaurant in Los Angeles called De Nada. Her big screen projects include the feature How I Met My Boyfriend’s Dead Fiancée, in which she stars with Paul Rudd, Jason Biggs and Lake Bell, playing a ghost who tries to sabotage her former boyfriend's current relationship with a psychic. The film premieres September 6 in Los Angeles and opens nationwide September 14. Longoria also recently completed voicing the character of the villainous Lady X in the animated feature Foodfight, scheduled for release November 16. Sporting a tantalizing tagline—“A tale of when good food…goes bad!”—the Lionsgate and Threshold Animation Studios comedy also stars Charlie Sheen, Hilary and Haley Duff, Christopher Lloyd, Chris Katan and Wayne Brady.
