“I couldn't imagine doing anything else and being as happy! I love to perform and be artistic!” – Lauren Storm

With a steadily growing resume of roles on Prime Time TV and a starring role in the popular Discovery Kids “Flight 29 Down” series and TV movie (alongside fellow IMTA alum Jeremy Kissner), it is perfect timing for IMTA NY 1999 alum Lauren Storm to take the next big step in her career onto the big screen. She makes her feature debut Friday in The Game Plan, a Disney comedy staring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kyra Sedgewick and Roselyn Sanchez.

The Game Plan tells the story of an NFL quarterback living the bachelor lifestyle who discovers that he has a 7-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. As his team chases a championship, he must figure out how to juggle his parties, practices and dates with the newfound ballet classes, bedtime stories and dolls that come with his daughter. In this family sports-comedy, Storm appears in the role of Cindy.

Storm has three other features that have completed filming and are in various stages of post-production with no release dates yet announced.

She is part of an ensemble cast in Together Again for the First Time, a comedy that tells the story of a blended family reuniting on Christmas Eve. It's the first time they've all been in the same house at the same time since the parent's marriage seven years before—which wouldn't be a problem if they all liked each other...but they don't…and matters only get worse with the unexpected arrival of an ex-boyfriend, an unannounced live television broadcast, and the outing of well-kept family secrets. David Ogden Stiers and Joey Lawrence co-star in the film.

In The Inner Circle, a coming-of-age drama of secrets, sin, and redemption, Storm stars as one of five bright, rebellious, teenage girls in a New England French Catholic boarding school in the 1960’s. They uncover centuries-old hidden and forbidden religious rituals—revived by a young postulant and kept alive by a group of elderly nuns—that ultimately lead them to discover life’s unlimited possibilities and a new way of being in the world.

Resurrection Mary is based on Chicago’s most famous ghost story that originated in the 1930s. On a dark and creepy road, teenager Jeff Pryce (Kevin G. Schmidt) nearly runs down a beautiful, yet mysterious young girl (Pamela Noble) walking alone by Resurrection Cemetery. Jeff offers to give her a ride and by the time he drops her off, a mutual attraction is obvious. But Jeff's life begins to spin out of control shortly after he asks “Mary” to be his date at Homecoming as one by one, his friends are brutally murdered. Storm plays Erica in the romantic thriller.
