If you had a chance to go back and re-visit your high school years, would you do anything differently? LA 1994 IMTA alum Brooke Burns and co-star Judy Greer will get the chance to find out when ABC premieres "Miss/Guided," its new mid-season comedy from producer and NY 1997 IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher. In the show, Greer plays Becky Freeley, a guidance counselor who goes back to her alma mater to work. She discovers the high-school experience has an annoying way of repeating itself when the school's new English teacher turns out to be her former nemesis Lisa Germain, a popular hottie played by Burns. Greer’s character has to struggle to hold on to her newly developed confidence while she and Burns compete for the attention of the handsome Spanish teacher.

Burns admits her own high school experience was more like Becky Freeley’s than Lisa Germain’s. “I wasn't really popular in high school,” Burns said in an interview with InStyle.com. “’Olive Oyl’ was my nickname. I was totally gangly and a foot taller than all the boys. It was not attractive.” Noted for her beautiful hair that has shown frequent changes in style and color, Burns says she didn’t always have a great sense of herself. “I totally had big hair in high school. I was a big user of the hot rollers and teasing. And I had mall bangs. I also wore my hair in a bun a lot because of all the dancing I did.”

In addition to his role as a “Miss/Guided”producer, Kutcher guest stars in the March 20 premiere as a substitute Spanish teacher whose presence threatens the job of series’ regular Kristoffer Polaha. “I love acting,” Kutcher says. “It's so much fun.” His company, Katalyst, has numerous TV projects and about a dozen feature films in development. Among them is Spread, a feature currently filming which Kutcher is producing as well as starring in alongside Laura Linney and Anne Heche. He also stars in What Happens in Vegas… with Cameron Diaz and Queen Latifah. The comedy revolves around two people who discover they've gotten married following a night of debauchery, with one of them winning a huge jackpot after playing the other's quarter. It is scheduled to open May 9th. And no release date has been set for Personal Effects, which Kutcher recently completed filming with Michelle Pfeiffer and Kathy Bates. Based on the story "Mansion on the Hill," the film follows the adventures of narrator Andrew Wakefield as he tries to come to terms with the death of his sister who was killed in a car accident just before her wedding.
