Young Star Lands Much Sought-After Role

IMTA alum Nicole Gail Anderson (LA04) has landed a job that makes her the envy of every teenage girl who is a fan of the Jonas Brothers. She stars with teen heartthrobs Joe, Nick and Kevin on the new Disney series “JONAS” as Macy, the self-proclaimed “Super Biggest JONAS Fan.”
“She’s a huge klutz only when she gets around the brothers,” says Anderson about her character, “’cause she gets really nervous and becomes this huge dork. It’s a lot of fun to play.” Anderson co-stars with Chelsea Staub, who plays her best friend Stella. The two are friends off the set as well. “It was really cool landing a job with your friend. We get to hang out and enjoy doing what we love every day.” About working with the hottest young musicians on the planet, Anderson has this to say: “As far as the Jonas Brothers go, what can I say? They’re amazingly talented and incredibly down to earth.” She adds, “They’re really cool guys.”
The young star has been steadily working since attending IMTA in Los Angeles 2004 with appearances on popular TV shows such as “Zoey 101,” “Hannah Montana” and “iCarly.” She has also had roles in the TV movies Nobody, Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! and Princess. With such experience under her belt, Anderson advises other young actors, “Don’t give up, just stick with it…whatever you want to do in life, just don’t give up on that.”
