IMTA Models Shine on TV, on Runways and in Print
IMTA Press Release
May 4, 2007

If you don’t yet recognize Renee Alway, you soon will. As one of the last five models standing on the current cycle of the hugely successful America’s Next Top Model, Alway is poised to walk off the show signed with Elite Model Management, awarded a $100,000 contract with Cover Girl cosmetics, and be featured on the cover and in a six-page spread in Seventeen magazine. Alway, an alum from IMTA NY 2001 who signed with Wilhelmina after the Convention, is set to rocket to supermodel status due to the style and presence she has shown on the top-rated CW show.

IMTA alum Marissa Irwin can be seen in the May issue of Seventeen magazine. She appears in a beauty photo-essay with tips for glamorous hair. Irwin, who competed in LA 2004 and signed with Elite in New York, recently walked the runway for a fashion show for Macy’s, appeared in the January Zink and Lucky Magazines, the April Cosmo Girl, and was photographed for Modern Bride, Casino Magazine, City Magazine and “Deco,” a Japanese catalogue. Needless to say, she is staying busy.

Alum Zhanna signed with IMG following the 2004 New York Convention, and has appeared internationally in magazines that include Nylon, Teen Vogue and Jane, runways for Genart, Daryl K and Michael Soheil, among many others. She appeared in the April issue of Marie France magazine and is currently seen in the new Sephora campaign.

Ty Boice, LA 2006 Male Model of the Year and 1st Runner-Up to Most Sought After Male Model, is following in the footsteps of fellow IMTA model-slash-actor alums such as Josh Duhamel and Ashton Kutcher. Along with being featured in a photo spread in the May issue of Cosmo Girl, Boice has just landed the lead role of Merrick in Oregon Stage Work’s production of The Elephant Man. At IMTA Boice received scholarships to the New York School of Film & Television and to The Actor's Intensive, in addition to his modeling awards. He signed with Kazarian Spencer & Associates and the Osbrink Agency in LA.
