IMTA Models: A Strong Presence on Runways and in Print

IMTA Alumni Working Across the Globe

It is no secret that IMTA has been the launching point for the careers of many models. New and established models are appearing in ads, catalogs and editorials, and many were on the runways during New York 2009 Fashion Week. Here is an update on just a few working IMTA model alumni.

The very busy Sean Harju, who signed with Major Models after attending IMTA LA06, appeared in the Spring/Summer 2010 shows for Monarchy, Thom Browne, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Z Zegna, Missoni, DSquared and Louis Vuitton, among others. He was also featured in the 2009 Flaunt Fall Fashion Issue, Style Magazine, and a Killer Fashion “advertorial” for Lord & Taylor inspired by the Showtime Original Series “Dexter.”

Katrina Hunter (LA07) hit the runways during 2009’s New York Fashion Week for Erin Wasson and Chado Ralph Rucci. She is signed with New York Models and LA Models.

Grayson Getty appeared in the first ever men's collection from Richard Chai. The NY09 alum is with Wilhelmina Models (as Grayson G).

The winner of the second season of Bravo’s “Make Me a Supermodel,” alum Branden Rickman (NY08), was featured in an editorial spread in the August edition of Cosmopolitan.

LA09 alum Tiffany Cochran signed with World Top Models in Japan. During this past summer she walked in three bridal shows, did a photo shoot for the upscale Japanese hair salon Peek-A-Boo, and shot a commercial for the new Nissan Hybrid car. Cochran is also featured in the Conscious by Nature clothing collection of the Element Skateboards Catalog.

Jessica White (NY99), who signed on as spokesmodel for Maybelline in 2007, is featured in the cosmetic giant’s national campaign for the new ColorSensational line of lipcolor. The popular six-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition model has been juggling her hectic schedule with writing a book. "It's called 'Overcoming Your Greatest Hurt' and it's a biography about a woman on death row,” White said. “I'm also doing a film on her."

Kacey Hutchins (IMTA NY09) signed with Emmanuel Models of New York and walked the runways during New York Fashion Week 2009 for three different designers. She also appeared during Charlotte Fashion Week in the premiere show for Beth Pilger Designs and in the catalog for Luis Machicao Couture.

Ashley Simpson attended IMTA LA09 and signed with Ford Models in New York (as Anna May Simpson). She will appear in Kohl’s Holiday Campaign for Vera Wang, and recently did a photo shoot with emerging high fashion photographer Shameer Khan.

NY08 alum Kaleb Builta recently appeared in the Japanese edition of Vogue. He is reported to be one of the youngest models ever to appear in the magazine.

Christian Hogue (NY09) appeared in the New York Fashion Week presentations for designers Tim Hamilton and Andrew Buckler, and was tapped for an editorial shoot by photographer Joe Lally. Hogue is with Wilhelmina New York.

NY04 alum Brittany Hollis has been working all over the world on runways and in print. She graces the cover and has an inside spread for issue No. 42 of the Japanese edition of Wedding Book and also has been featured in ads for Maire Claire makeup. Hollis is with Next in New York, Why Not in Milan and Satoru in Tokyo.
